Beyond Display: Designing Experiences that Sell

August 21, 2026

“The broader one’s understanding of the human experience, the better design we will have.”

– Steve Jobs

What if every inch of your space could also serve as your product brochure?

A walk through Decora’s Philippine Showroom is an immersive experience of their craftsmanship, a space that not only functions as a workshop but also serves as a showcase of products. It connects people to their products, with each space carefully designed to curate their diverse range of finishes, including Microcement, decorative plaster, lime finishes, etc. Every corner is thoughtfully created to demonstrate the versatility and application of their products, allowing visitors to experience firsthand how Decora transforms surfaces into distinctive design statements.

Designed by Id8 Interior + Architecture, Decora’s showroom is a reimagining of Baroque for modern times, where old-world drama is interpreted through a contemporary lens. Drawing from the richness, curves, and ornamentation of classical European design, the space carefully pares these elements back to create an aesthetic that feels fresh, refined, and relevant today. This approach presents Decora’s plaster collection in a compelling way, pairing timeless materiality with expressive form. Through sculptural surfaces, layered textures, and thoughtfully crafted details, the showroom demonstrates how traditional influences can be transformed into contemporary design experiences, showcasing the versatility and artistry of Decora’s finishes.

More than a showroom, the space shows the power of design as a storytelling tool. At ID8, we wanted every inch of the space to showcase the possibilities with Decora’s products. Every surface, curve, and detail serves as proof of what’s possible, transforming the environment itself into a living portfolio.

The space immerses visitors with Decora’s brand, inspiring them to imagine how its products can elevate walls, floors, and other surfaces. It also gives them the opportunity to experience the texture and quality of each product. Every corner embodies the mood and character that these finishes can evoke, unlocking endless possibilities for clients’ imagination.

It’s a reminder that when a brand fully embraces its own products, every inch of a space can become its most compelling brochure.
